Another sugarcraft showcase on Maison Cupcake – today it’s the turn of Konditor and Cook.

Konditor and Cook were my nemesis en route to work in my former life. I couldn’t pass their Holborn branch without buying one of their muffins for breakfast!
If I tell you Peggy Porschen previously decorated cakes at Konditor and Cook that gives you a clue to their style. They’re most well known for their individually iced fondant fancies which are showcased here amongst their 2014 Valentine’s collection.
A lot of love has gone into decorating these cakes so pull up a chair and eat with your eyes…

oooh wow. I used to live near the Holborn branch a long time ago and remember well the K and C!!these look so pretty but not too girly
Wow that is central. I remember some flats being built above Chancery Lane station and saying to husband “We should sell and move here instead” but never did. No doubt we’d have moved out by now with a family if we had.
They are still miles ahead of many of their competitors. I love them because they are so arty and creative and they always keep evolving and coming up with clever ideas.
I think they really have the fondant fancy nailed. And I like that they call them magic cakes!
I love these cakes from Konditor and Cook. The first valentines day I celebrated with Mr Glam I had a box of these biked to Watford! Aaah the days I had money! We also ordered these for our wedding. Lemony, witty and delightfully colourful. GG
Ah lovely, I hark back to Valentine’s Days past and say to husband “Why don’t you buy me jewellery anymore”!
Konditor & Cook for wedding cakes is very stylish 🙂
I’ve never heard of this brand before! Will pop in next time I visit Borough Market. Love the Mini Curly Whirly Cake – have pinned! Delicious treats 🙂
They’re a bit under the radar for some reason, very London centric. Their style is very distinctive and the bakeries are a delight.
awww how pretty are they! I HAVE come across Konditor and Cook. In fact I cross the road. Far too tempting for words!
I would so cross the road to look in Konditor & Cook’s window. Luckily the one in Holborn was right by a pelican crossing 😉
