My Daddy Cooks by Nick Coffer VIDEO REVIEW

July 28, 2011 by Sarah Trivuncic 5 Comments

Following on from my last post where Ted made pizza with Nick and Archie from My Daddy Cooks, today I share my review of the new My Daddy Cooks
book.

This is the first of a series of video book reviews that I will be publishing over the summer. I’m intending to publish a lot more video in future, both for this site and BritMums.

The videos will often be uploaded to You Tube before they appear on the blog so if you’d like to watch them before anyone else, do subscribe to the Maison Cupcake YouTube channel.

It’s a bit like BBC2 circa 1980 at the moment where they took a break in the afternoon between Fingerbobs and Afternoon Plus but hopefully before long it will be jam packed with clips of me telling you precisely what I think of various books, gadgets and products in the familiar honest style.

If it’s rubbish I’ll say so, but then you already know that.

Such a fun idea for a book! No kids yet, but I am lucky to have a husband who can make a few things for dinner if need be! His arroz con gandules is super-yummy.

I cannot wait to hear how your husband gets on with the cooking!

Great idea to do video reviews!

Why have you got two copies of Prepped?

I LOVE the idea of video reveiws Sarah! Love hearing your voice. Plus, we know you’re going to tell us like it it 🙂 This sounds like a great book – and I like the idea of the 1970s ladle sticking out of the stew pictures! PS: the Mexican lasagne sounds like a dish I make often and I think you definitely need to try this with Ted!

That would make a good video, your nick getting teddy to cook something.
